Filing Taxes Electronically Could Save State Money

Governor Davis wants to change the way tax filers do business to save the state some money. The proposal would require accountants and other professionals who prepare 100 or more returns to file their client´s forms electronically by computer.
The move is projected to save nearly $1.5 million over the next fiscal year.
