Hospital Officials To Make A “Major” Announcement

A “major” announcement is expected tomorrow afternoon regarding the new Sonora Community Hospital on Greenley Road. Hospital spokeswoman Gale Witzlsteiner says there´s going to be a kickoff party, as the staff gets ready to move. There will also be a press conference in the afternoon, when the “major” announcement will be made. Hospital officials still aren´t saying what the announcement is, but there are indications we may learn the new name of the 72-bed health care facility.
Hospital President, Larry Davis, and project construction manager, Val Devitt, will speak at the press conference tomorrow.
If you can’t be there, AM 1450 KVML will carry the press conference live on your radio, starting at 3 PM.
