Sonora High Grad Killed In Plane Crash

A U.S. Marine Corps pilot and Iraq War veteran was killed this week during a routine training mission. John Berger, a 1994 Sonora High graduate, died Tuesday night when his plane crashed outside Palm Springs. The 27-year-old Berger returned from Iraq on May 9. The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
