Prop 54 Support Slipping

Support is slipping for a contentious ballot initiative to ban state and local governments from classifying Californians by race. Likely voters are evenly split on Prop 54– 40 percent support it and 40 percent oppose it. As recently as July, half the poll´s respondents said they would support the initiative.
