State Looks To Feds To Change Energy Contracts

The state of California is going to petition federal energy regulars to modify long term and high cost electricity contracts, signed during the peak of the power crisis. An aide to Governor Gray Davis says the state will ask federal regulators to declare the 43 billion dollars in contracts over priced and subject to reversal.
