Co-Pay For Pregnant Women Becomes Issue

On Thursday, February 14th, State Senator Jackie Speier introduced a bill to help pregnant women in the state. This bill, called SB 1411, is one which will help eliminate hospital co-pay discrimination towards pregnant women. The average pregnant women must give a co pay of up to 2000 dollars for proper health care.
