CA Rice Farmers Disapprove Of New Fed Farm Bill

Rice farmers say they disagree with a key provision of a new federal farm bill. The Senate version of the bill contains a cap on crop payments to farmers who produce rice and certain other crops. The president of the California Rice Commission says that gives a competitive advantage to smaller scale Midwestern farmers.
