Fire In Mi Wuk Contained

Firefighters are finishing up work on a 2-acre blaze along Highway 108 in Mi Wuk. The fire broke out shortly before 6:00 this morning near Tramway Road. Crews got the fire surrounded within a couple of hours, and have been mopping up in the thick brush and woodland for several hours. You may still see some residual smoke in the vicinity.
