California Unemployment Rate Drops Slightly

California´s unemployment rate dropped slightly to six-point-three percent in September from August´s revised figure of 6.4 percent. The rate of joblessness in California remains well above the national rate of 5.6 percent and also above the state´s 5.7 percent figure of September 2001.
