Tahoe Bear Deaths Up

The number of bears killed in the Lake Tahoe area is on the rise, and wildlife advocates are trying to do something about it. State biologist Carl Lackey says eight bears have been struck and killed by vehicles on Tahoe´s Nevada side this season. Four more had to be shot for breaking into homes to get food.
