Nelsons Win Entrepreneur Award

Tuolumne Chamber of Commerce named its Best of award winners last night during the annual Installation and honors banquet.
Entrepreneur of the year went to Michael and Janice Nelson of Nelson’s Columbia Candy Kitchen. A tearful Janice accepted the award.
“Most of you I’ve seen as customers,” she said last night. “You have been what has kept us in business for all these years.”
She says the candy kitchen is a family business and it will stay that way. “We are a team. We maintain a family business and want to keep it in that tradition.”
