Sacramento Railyard Cleanup Stalled

Cleanup work at a downtown Sacramento railyard has stalled because workers have found asbestos. Residents blame Union Pacific Railroad for not taking care of the railyard before selling it to developers. The asbestos is just another toxic material found there over the past 15 years. In 1999, a layer of cancer-causing coal waste was also found.
