Sierra Fire Draws Federal Dollars

The US Forest Service has come up with a 4 million dollar fire prevention grant for the state of Nevada.
That state´s Governor announced the funding as he visited the command post, where fire crews are battling the 14,500 acre Martis fire. That blaze is 75%
contained, and crews expect to have it surrounded by Saturday.
