Fire Readiness Exercise Planned

Firefighters from Tuolumne and Calaveras Counties will be at the Calaveras Fairgrounds for two days next
week to sharpen their skills for this fire season. CDF spokesperson Sharon Torrance says the Fire Readiness Exercise begins Tuesday. Crews will practice
mobile fire attacks and safety work. There will also be a simulated attack on a five acre fire.
