California Memorial Day Fatalities Exceed Last Year’s Toll

Sixteen deaths are reported in California traffic accidents during the first 36 hours of the long Memorial Day
holiday period. The 16 fatalities exceeds the toll of eight during the same day-and-one-half period during the Memorial Day weekend a year ago.
