Olive Growers to Open Plant

Good news for the olive industry. California Olive Growers, a grower-owned co-op, bought a cannery
from bankrupt Tri-Valley Growers last week. The growers expect to have the facility operating when the olive harvest starts in September. The cannery will
serve smaller farms, which are often ignored by privately owned facilities.
