Leaking Oil Well Ignites

Firefighters controlled an oil well fire northwest of Bakersfield that sent flames soaring 50 feet into the air.
No injuries or damage was reported at the Chevron oil field as oil-fire specialists were called in last night to douse the blaze. A Chevron spokesman says it was
touched off by a leak at a well.
