Condit Gets Opposition

Assemblyman Dennis Cardoza is running for the seat held by Congressman Gary Condit. Cardoza has been Condit´s protege, friend and ally for more than a decade. But now it appears the two may face each other in the Democratic primary for the 18th Congressional District. Condit has indicated he will seek re-election but has not announced plans.
