Progress Slow For Dog Mauling Victim

The boy who was mauled to the edge of death by three pit bulls last summer celebrated Christmas with a new pair of artificial ears. Shawn Jones faces years of reconstructive surgeries. The 11-year-old Richmond boy lost his ears, as well as many of the muscles and nerves in his face, when the dogs attacked him June 18th as he rode a bike his parents had given him for getting good grades.
