New Child Safety Seat Requirements

Starting tomorrow, a new child car safety seat law will go into effect. The new law requires all children who are six years old or weigh at least 60 pounds to be secured in a safety seat while on the road.
The new law supercedes the previous requirement that safety seats be used for kids four years old or at least 40 pounds. For more information on the new law, call Triple-A.
