Trial Date Could Be Set In Fowler Case

San Andreas, CA — The 12-year-old brother of Leila Fowler is scheduled to appear in a San Andreas courtroom Wednesday afternoon.
A jurisdictional hearing is set for 1:15pm in Calaveras County Superior Court for Isiah Fowler, who faces a second degree murder charge in connection to his sister’s death. Leila Fowler was murdered inside their Valley Springs area home on April 27th, and the autopsy revealed that she died from multiple stab wounds. The brother and sister were the only two in the home at the time. The Judge may decide to set a trial date at Wednesday’s hearing.
The Fowler case has drawn both regional and national attention. Isiah Fowler has been in custody at a Placerville Juvenile Detention Facility.
