Calaveras Supervisors To Debate Several Items
San Andreas, CA — Items related to the Arnold Rim Trail and security at Ironstone Vineyards tops Tuesday’s Calaveras County Supervisors meeting.
The Board will vote whether to allow the Board Chair to sign an agreement with the Forest Service allowing the construction of the Arnold Rim Trail Cedar Center Bikeway Connection Project. It is a paved multiple use trail between Pine Drive and Oak Circle. It runs along Stanislaus National Forest land, with trailheads located on Calaveras County property.
The Board of Supervisors will also vote whether to approve a supplemental law enforcement contract with Ironstone Vineyards to cover the overtime accrued during special events and concerts. It would be retroactive to July 1st, which would result in $3,600 to the Sheriff’s Office to cover the three recent summer concerts.
In addition, the Supervisors will meet in closed session to talk about the open Chief Probation Officer position. Tuesday’s meeting will begin at 9am at the Government Center in San Andreas.
