TuCare Dinner’s Speaker And Date Announced
The 25th annual TuCARE Dinner and Auction take place Saturday March 8th at the Sonora Elks Lodge.
TuCare Executive Director Melinda Fleming, was Friday’s KVML “Newsmaker of the Day”.
The special guest speaker is Bruce Vincent, 3rd generation logger from Libby, Montana. Vincent has spoken about Natural Resources across the nation and around the world and is President of Communities for a Great Northwest, Executive Director for Provider Pals, and co-owner of Environomics.
Vincent believes we need to reintroduce the people of America to the processes and the people of production – then take the lead in discussions over the environment.
TuCare stands for Tuolumne County Alliance for Resources and Environment, Inc. It was established to enlighten and advise the public on conservation and the wise use of our natural resources.
TuCare is involved in issues related to public and private lands usage which TuCARE feels is essential for a vital and functioning local, and state economy.
The annual TuCare Dinner and Auction, which is always open to the general public. The dinner will begin at 6:30pm, with cocktails (social hour) starting at 5:00pm. The dinner includes chicken and tri-tip. Tickets are $40 per person.
Proceeds from the event will benefit TuCare’s programs including “Tours For Kids”. Those are educational programs for school children, which at times, includes hands-on field trips.

Ticket prices will increase by $5 on February 15th.
A non-profit organization, all of the TuCare programs come from donations, memberships and grants.
