March Weekend Events
Saturday is the first day of March and several events are being held.
Saturday and Sunday is the 2nd Annual Sportsmen’s Expo, provided by Friends of the Mother Lode Fairgrounds. The event features hunting & fishing supplies, RVs, ATVs, demonstrations, kids activities, food and beverages will be available. For the hours view the event listing 2nd Annual Sportsmens Expo.
Saturday afternoon the Hornitos Patrons Club is hosting its 65th Annual Enchilada Dinner. In addition to the dinner there will be; vendors, Mexican dancing, dancing horses, and live country-western music. Proceeds go to maintaining the historic town of Hornitos as well as supporting the community’s children and local service clubs. The event listing is here.

Summerville High and Connections Visual and Performing Arts Students will perform “I Never Saw Another Butterfly” Saturday at 2:00pm. The last performance will be Saturday at 7:00pm. The play is based on the lives of children in a concentration camp during WWII, and how they found hope and strength. For ticket information view the event listing.
All day Saturday will be a Rummage Sale Fundraiser hosted by POST 505 Fire Explorers. The event is to raise money for field trips, equipment, and learning materials. Details about the Rummage event are here.
Saturday there will be a Tuolumne County Master Gardeners Open Garden Day featuring information of the topics of; Water Conservation, Grape Care and Maintenance, Spring Vegetable Garden Planning, and Seed Starting. For times and contact information view the UCCE Master Gardeners event listing.
The first Sunday of the month is the American Legion Post 58 All You Can Eat Pancake Breakfast. Breakfast details and price are in the event listing.
