Ladies Night Out In Downtown Sonora Tonight

Sponsored by:

October is National Breast Health Awareness Month and Sonora Regional Medical Center is hosting the second annual Ladies Night Out in Sonora to help spread the message of breast health to the community.

Lindsay Brewer, SRMC Marketing Coordinator, was Thursday’s KVML “Newsmaker of the Day”.

Ladies Night Out is scheduled for 4:30 to 7:00 p.m. tonight in downtown Sonora.

Entertainment will be provided by local band The Tour Guides.

This free event is open to ladies as well as their friends, family and men as well.

According to Brewer, participants are asked to wear pink and register at the Heart Rock Café to be entered in a drawing for a special gift basket (valued at $400).

From there, participants will receive a Ladies Night Out passport which contains special deals from many downtown businesses. In addition, the first 250 people to register will receive a free gift.

Refreshments will be served at the Heart Rock Café and complimentary maniCURES will be provided by the Sonora High School Cosmetology Program.

Staff from the Center for Breast Health will be offering education about breast cancer prevention and early detection. Other activities include a photobooth, celebration wall signing and memorial candle lighting.

After stopping by the Heart Rock Café, take a stroll with your friends through historic downtown Sonora to enjoy some shopping, dining and services. Many local businesses will be participating in a window display contest, staying open late and providing special deals and giveaways.

For more information about the event, please call 209-536-5028.

The “Newsmaker of the Day” is heard every weekday morning on AM 1450 KVML at 6:45, 7:45 and 8:45 AM.
