Sonora, CA – Emergency crews are on the scene of an accident that is blocking traffic in downtown Sonora. The Sonora Police Department has blocked off the northbound lane on North Washington Street at Bradford Street for accident in front of the Heart Rock Café. Further details regarding the accident have not been released. We will bring you more information as soon as it is available.
Update 6:35 p.m.: The Sonora Police Department reports the roadway is open and traffic is moving once again. There are reports that a man was hit by a vehicle and was taken to Sonora Regional Medical Center, but there is no word on injuries. Also, the Sonora Police Department has not released any further details on the crash.
