Sponsored by:

Sonora, CA — Interfaith has received $18,695 in cash from the 5th annual Clarke Broadcasting Interfaith Cash and Coat Drive. In addition the Coat Drive brought them 800 coats. In five years, more than $128,000 dollars has been donated along with more than 6,870 coats.

Dozens of local businesses and residents donated cash and coats in just three days. Donations were greatly appreciated from a bag of change to the generous amounts of one thousand dollars and more. According to Interfaith Social Services Director, Cathy Peacock, each dollar donated will be leveraged to buy seven dollars of food and clothing.

The Clarke Broadcasting Interfaith Cash and Coat Drive began December 4 and ended on December 6. Donations are accepted by Interfaith all year Monday through Friday 10am-1pm at the Interfaith location at 18500 Striker Court off Tuolumne Road in Sonora. Interfaith is open all year and annually serves more than 36,000 people through food, clothing and other services.
