Arnold, CA — High winds toppled a tree earlier today. According to Ebbetts Pass Fire District Chief Mike Johnson, it fell into a structure on Summit Level Road.
Johnson confirms that the incident happened around 8:55 this morning and involved a 24-inch DBH tree and an unoccupied garage-with-a-loft structure that could have been an apartment or guest house to a larger structure on the property. Johnson says the tree fall also brought a telephone line down and that the owner has been notified. There is no damage estimate yet, according to Johnson.
