Weekend Events preceeding MLK Day

Schools and various other businesses will be closed this coming Monday, here is a list of a few of the events happening around the county.

An Annual Gala, Silent Auction and Garage Sale will wrap up on Saturday, January 17th at the Twain Harte Golf Clubhouse, sponsored by High Country Friends of the Library. The event supports children’s library programs and the Mi-Wuk Volunteer Library and Community Center. Details on the hours are here.

As reported the 4-H Community Dinner, hosted by Tuolumne County 4-H on Saturday, is held at the Mother Lode Fairgrounds. The barbecued tri-tip dinner served from 4-7 PM includes baked potato, green salad, dinner roll, beverages, ice cream and cookie. The 4-H community service project for the Dinner is helping ReHorse Rescue Ranch feed their horses this winter. Further details are here.

Soroptimist of Twain Harte Annual Crab Feed is also on Saturday at the Tuolumne Veterans Memorial Hall. The menu includes salad, rolls, clam chowder, pasta, and all you can eat crab. The doors will open at 4:30 details are here.
