Caltrans Work Plans Week of June 22

Stockton, CA — Caltrans road crews plan a busy week across the Mother Lode.

In Calaveras County, along Highway 26, long-term construction is scheduled through early October between Nove Way and Highway 12 during the weekdays from 3 p.m. until midnight, which is not anticipated to cause notable motorist delays next week. However, additional overnight work Monday and Tuesday from 7 p.m. until 7 a.m. will run under one-way traffic control and motorists should plan for possible 15-minute delays.

Long-term construction through early October also begins on Highway 12 from Pine Street to Cosgrove Creek. Next week, overnight construction each weeknight is planned from 7 p.m. until 7 a.m. with one-way traffic control and potential 15-minute delays. Additionally, utility work at that location is scheduled Monday and Tuesday from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m., which may cause motorists ten-minute delays. Alternate routes should be taken whenever possible.

Utility work on Highway 26 between Hogan Dam Road and West State Route 12 is scheduled Monday and Tuesday, between Hogan Dam Road and West State Route 12 from 7 a.m. until 3 p.m. with one-way traffic control and possible five-minute delays.

Along Highway 4, every week day, shoulder work between O’Bryne’s Ferry Road and Deer Creek Drive from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. may cause motorist delays of up to ten minutes.

In Tuolumne County, along Highway 49, fog seal operations are planned Thursday from 6:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. between Jackass Gulch Bridge and South State Route 120 in the left and right turn lanes. That same day, crews will be working on the Jackass Gulch Bridge from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. Motorists should plan for up to 15-minute delays between the two work zones, which will be under one-way traffic control.

More fog sealing is in the works on Highway 108. Monday from 6:30 a.m. until 3 p.m., the operations will focus between Hidden Acres and Plainview roads. Tuesday, the work will move between Plainview Road and the East Avenue undercrossing, west of Tuolumne Road, causing up to ten-minute delays.

Along Highway 120, work on the Tuolumne River Bridge is scheduled Monday through Wednesday, from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. causing possible five-minute delays. Additionally, on Wednesday, fog seal operations between the Tuolumne/Mariposa County Line and Cherry Valley Road is scheduled from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. with one-way traffic control and anticipated 15-minute motorist delays.
