Motorcyclist Killed In Calaveras County

Arnold, CA — A Sacramento area motorcyclist died in a crash on Highway 4.
It happened on Saturday at 2:45pm, just east of Upper Moran Road. The 53-year-old unidentified man from Cameron Park was riding a 2009 Harley Davidson. The CHP reports that he failed to negotiate a curve and hit a 2006 Chevy Silverado driven by 45-year-old Gerardo Dagio of Murphys. Officer Rebecca Myers notes that the crash remains under investigation, and results from a drug/alcohol toxicology report on the motorcyclist are pending.
