Update: Crash Slows Traffic On HWY120
Update at 6:30 p.m.: The CHP reports two individuals were taken via air ambulances to two Modesto hospitals one suffering major injuries. The CHP did not have details on the other persons injuries. A tow crew is working to pull the car up from the embankment and traffic is not impacted at this time.
Update at 3:50 p.m.: The CHP reports a truck and car collided and the car went 50 feet down an embankment. A ground ambulances and two air ambulances have been called to the scene but there are no details on injury at this time. However, CHP officials indicate that one of the drivers is alert and conscious at this time. Additionally, Animal Control has been called to the scene as a dog was in one of the vehicles. Officers are directing traffic at the intersection.
Original post at 3:35 p.m.: Moccasin, CA — The CHP is headed to the scene of a two-vehicle crash in the Moccasin area of Tuolumne County that is slowing at the Highway 49 intersection. Two ambulances have been called to the scene along with two air ambulances, according to the CHP, but there are no injury details at this time. Officers are directing traffic on the highway, which is getting backed up.
