Update: Progress Made Restoring Power
Update at 1:45 p.m.: PG&E is reporting that the power has been restored to 65 customers in the Valley Springs areas north of Burson near South Camanche Shore. No cause was posted. There are still a handful of customers without power in the Twain Harte area along Highway 108. The company relays that a crew is on-site working to restore power. The estimated repair time is around 4 p.m.
Update at 12:05pm: Many of the earlier power outages resulting from the wet storm system have now been restored, according to PG&E. However, there is a new outage impacting 65 customers north of Burson near South Camanche Shore. It is unclear when there will be full restoration. There are also a handful of customers without power scattered in Twain Harte, Columbia and Dorrington.
Original story posted at 6:50am: Sonora, CA — It is a wet and soggy Thursday and there are some scattered power outages in the Mother Lode.
PG&E reports that 38 customers are without electricity in the Indian Creek area of Calaveras County off Highway 4 near Forest Meadows. It started at around 6:15am and it is unclear when there will be full restoration.
Three customers remain without power from a late night outage in the Soulsbyville area. A damaged power pole was located and crews are working to make needed repairs. Full restoration should come by noon.
There are 63 customers without power east of La Grange near Lake McClure. The lights went out shortly before 4am and full restoration should come over the morning hours.
There is a much bigger outage in the Jackson area of Amador County impacting 1,909 customers. It is unclear when there will be full restoration there.
