Weekend Car Fire

Sonora, CA — Firefighters quickly extinguished a car fire on Saturday night along Highway 108.
It was near the Stockton Road turnoff that heads towards downtown Sonora. No one was hurt. Witnesses report that fire officials were on scene within seven minutes of the fire starting. The fire happened at around 9pm. It did not spread to any nearby vegetation.
