Solo Truck Crash Update

Strawberry, CA — The CHP has arrested a Sonora man for drunk driving following the roll over crash in Tuolumne County. The CHP says 49 year-old Paul Lawrence was driving on Highway 108 and Old Strawberry Road in a Ford Ranger pick-up truck pulling a boat and trailer when he lost control on a curve and hit a tree. Then the truck went over an embankment and rolled over several times landing about 100 feet in heavy forest brush. Lawrence suffered a cut to his head and was arrested for DUI. A passenger was not injured in the crash. The CHP says both were wearing seat belts.
