Focus On Railtown
This weekend’s Mother Lode Views will focus on efforts to keep Railtown 1897 open past July 1st.
The state park in Jamestown is one of 70 on the state closure list because of budget cuts. The group will also talk about the economic impact of having Railtown in Tuolumne County.
The panel of guests will include Park Superintendent Kim Baker, Tuolumne County Administrator Craig Pedro, District Five Tuolumne County Supervisor Dick Pland, Jamestown Promotion Club member Jim O’Neil, Film Commissioner Jerry Day, Sierra Railway Foundation member John Zach and Kathy Daigle of the California State Railroad Museum Foundation.
