Motorists Delays In Tuolumne County

Tuolumne County, CA – You can expect up to 20 minute delays if you’re heading on Highway 49 from HWY 108 to Washington Street in Sonora. Caltrans will be paving beginning Sunday, July 8, 2012, through Friday, July 13, 2012, from 8:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.

Crews will also close the northbound connector ramp at the HWY 49/ 108 junction near Sonora beginning Sunday, July 8, 2012, through Friday, July 13, 2012, from 8:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.

Also, you can expect 15 minute delays if you’re heading on Highway 108 east of Twain Harte. Caltrans is doing paving and guardrail work on Highway 108 from Draper Mine Road to East of Twain Harte.

Crews will be working at the following locations:

• One way traffic control on HWY108 from Draper Mine Road to North Sunshine Road beginning Sunday, July 8, 2012, through Friday, July 13, 2012, from 7:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.

• One way traffic control on HWY108 from West Twain Harte/ Plainview Road to East Avenue beginning Sunday, July 8, 2012, through Friday, July 13, 2012, from 7:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.

• The #1 (left) and #2 (right) lanes on eastbound and westbound HWY 108 will alternately close beginning Monday, July 9, 2012, through Friday, July 13, 2012, from 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

• One way traffic control from North Tuolumne Road to HWY108 beginning Monday, July 9, 2012, through Friday, July 13, 2012, from 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.;

Caltrans asks motorists to try to avoid these areas and take alternative routes.
