DUI Driver Injured In Accident

Murphys, CA– A man who suffered major injuries in a vehicle accident yesterday was also arrested for DUI.
The CHP reports that at around 4:36 pm, 65-year-old Ronald Lake was traveling eastbound on Murphys Grade Road east of Canyon Drive. He reportedly lost control of his pickup truck, drove off the roadway and down an embankment.
Lake crawled from the vehicle and waited for emergency crews. He was transported to Mark Twain St. Joseph’s Hospital and treated for his injuries. He suffered an abrasion to his forehead and a dislocated left knee.
