Motorcyclist Fatally Injured

Valley Springs, CA– A man from Valley Springs was fatally injured Tuesday after his motorcycle collided with a vehicle.
The CHP reports that the accident occurred at around 2:15 pm on Highway 26 just west of Hogan Dam Road.
Valley Springs resident Beckey Lee Foster was traveling westbound on Highway 26 when she allowed her 2001 Jeep Cherokee to cross the double yellow lines and into the path of a motorcyclist.
The motorcyclist died from his injuries and his passenger was seriously injured. The name of the deceased and his passenger will be released upon notification of family. Foster received minor injuries.
