“Frog Wranglers” Hitting The Road
Angels Camp, CA– The Calaveras County Fair and Jumping Frog Jubilee’s Frog Jump Committee also known as the “Frog Wranglers” is taking the Frogs on the road this month.
The Wranglers will be hosting a Frog Jump in Old Sacramento Friday, August 27th. Then on August 28th, the Frogs will be jumping at Fireman’s Fun Day held annually at Utica Park in Angels Camp. The competition times are from 1 pm to 3 pm. You can bring your own frog or jump one of the Frogtown critters that will be on hand. The cost to jump a frog is one dollar.
Applications are also now being taken for members of the community to serve on the Frog Jump Committee’s board of directors. The board currently has once vacancy. The FJC’S primary functions are to produce the annual event, preserve the history of the Frog Jump and insure the health and welfare of the frogs.
