TUD Requesting Water Conservation

Sonora, CA– Residents in the Ponderosa Hills and Tuolumne areas will need to conserve water next week.  Tuolumne Utilities District maintenance crews will be repairing a section of the Eureka ditch the week of September 20th and water flow to the ditch will be stopped. 

Customers who receive raw water from the Eureka and Roaches ditch system will not have water from Sunday, September 19th  through Saturday, September 25th.  TUD is also asking customers in the Ponderosa Hills and Tuolumne area to conserve water during this water outage. Conservation measures include limiting outside watering, turning off automatic lawn and drip irrigation systems and not washing cars.
