Going Pink For Breast Cancer Awareness
San Andreas, CA– Mark Twain St. Joseph’s Hospital has teamed up with the Calaveras Junior Redskins Football and Cheer Association to spread the word about Breast Cancer Awareness in October, which is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Calaveras Junior Redskins parents are currently delivering pink light bulbs to businesses in Valley Springs in preparation for the Pink in the Night Ceremony at 7:00 pm on September 30th at the Terrace (Common Grounds, Fusion Grill) in Valley Springs.
On Saturday, October 2nd, the Calaveras Junior Redskins have a home game at Calaveras High School in San Andreas. Mark Twain St. Joseph’s Hospital will have a booth for Breast Cancer Awareness, handing out goodies to the mothers. The football players will also have pink ribbons on their helmets which they will wear the entire month.
