Sonora City Council Meets Monday

Sonora, CA– The Sonora City Council will be meet this Monday in an open session to discuss a variety of items.  One item on the agenda will be considering approval of issues related to the city’s annual “Christmas Parade” November 26th. The event would involve temporarily closing Highway 49 and certain city streets to accommodate the historic downtown parade.


Another item to be discussed will be consideration of bids and awards contracts for Woods Creek (Rotary) Park playground equipment. Sonora Police Chief Mark Stinson will also present four dedicated police officers with Lifesaving Commendations for exceptional service to the department and the community.


The City Council meeting starts at 5:00 pm at Sonora City Hall.
