Groveland, CA — The Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a reported drowning in the Groveland area.
The Sheriff’s Office reports that a 79-year-old man was driving a truck on his property over the weekend and it appears that the vehicle got stuck in some mud. His body was found in nearby water. Additional details surrounding his death are not immediately known. The man has not been identified and more information is expected to be released later today by the Sheriff’s Office.
