According to the CHP report the Jamestown resident was riding his 2005 blue Harley Davidson Sportster eastbound on Cottonwood Rd. west of Cherry Lake when he apparently allowed his vehicle to travel off the south edge of the roaday. The left side of the motorcycle struck a metal roadway paddle marker. The bike turned sideways and then overturned down the south roadway embankment.

Evanslawrence was found deceased by private citizens Wednesday at 11:30am. It is believed the collision occurred sometime on Tuesday.

Evanslawrence was wearing red and white shorts, no shoes, no shirt and a black motorcycle vest.

The CHP is seeking information from the public regarding Evanslawrence’s whereabouts Tuesday and any additional information that might be available.
