Calaveras County Supervisors To Approve May 19 Election Results

San Andreas, CA — Not unlike Tuolumne County the Calaveras County supervisors will accept the canvass of the May 19th Special Election at their San Andreas meeting today. 

In addition there will be approval of a Ward Housing agreement between the county and the Yuba-Sutter Bi-County Juvenile Hall under which Yuba and Sutter counties will provide detention and treatment services for juvenile court wards at the Maxine Singer Youth Guidance Center at a rate of $3,500 per month ($115 per day).

Also today there will be discussion and possible action regarding a resolution authorizing an expenditure contract not to exceed $58,725 between the county and Schneider Learning Services under which Schneider Learning Services would provide learning disability evaluations for CalWORKS Welfare-to-Work participants for the period of July 1, 2009 through June 30, 2010.

There will also be discussion and possible action regarding a resolution authorizing an expenditure contract not to exceed $250,000 between the county and the Resource Connection for the provision of CalWORKS Stage 1 Child Care Services for the period of July 1, 2009 through June 30, 2010. 

Also scheduled today; an update on the new San Andreas Adult Detention Facility. 

Today’s meeting will get underway at nine o’clock at the Government Center.
