Sponsored by:
Yosemite, CA – Yosemite fire officials now estimate that the Wildcat Fire is 957 acres, and continues to smolder and move slowly through brush and areas of ground fuel.
A portion of the Grand Canyon along the Tuolumne Canyon Trail has been reopened. Visitors can now travel to California Falls from the Glen Aulin High Sierra Camp. The trail remains closed from Pate Valley on the west to California Falls to the east. Fire crews are working diligently to get the trail completely open for travel.
