MTSJH Hires M.D. For Copperopolis Family Medical Center
Copperopolis, CA — Dr. Tony Halat has joined the staff at Mark Twain St. Joseph’s Hospital and will practice medicine at the Family Medical Center in Copperopolis.
Dr. Halat will specialize in General Internal Medicine, and his special interests include preventative medicine, hypertension, diabetes and holistic medicine.
Dr. Halat says, “The lifestyle of the area and the medical needs of the Copperopolis population are inter-related. I look forward to managing these healthcare issues for our residents.”
MTSJH President Feliciano Jiron states, “We are very proud to have Dr. Halat on our medical staff. His years of experience and medical interests are a perfect match for our communities.”
Dr. Halat completed his internal medicine residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit after receiving his Medical Degree from Wayne State University.
