Pritchard Suffers Major Injuries … Charged With DUI

Jamestown, CA — Melissa Pritchard suffered major injuries due to her Sunday afternoon accident on Hwy 120.

Pritchard was also arrested by the Highway Patrol for driving under the influence.

The 30 year old Groveland resident was eastbound on Hwy 120 approaching Deer Flat Rd. at between 55-60 mph when due to her level of intoxication she drove into the westbound lane barely missing an oncoming vehicle.

Pritchard over corrected and collided with a utility pole. Her 1993 Acura Integra then proceeded down an embankment and collided with a tree.

Pritchard was only wearing the shoulder portion of her safety restraint device and was subsequently ejected from the vehicle.

She was transported to Doctor’s Medical Center in Modesto for treatment.
