Parolee Captured By Calaveras County Sheriff’s Deputy

San Andreas, CA — 27 year old John Cody Williams of 4417 Baldwin Lane in Valley Springs was captured Thursday afternoon by an un-named deputy in his first week on the job with the Calaveras County Sheriff´s Department.
Sheriff detectives and members of the Narcotics Team received information that a parolee was at large in the Valley Springs area. Once located Williams attempted to flee on a BMX style bicycle. After a short chase Williams crashed his bike and was immediately apprehended.
A search of the suspect revealed a twin bean scale and three bags containing what is suspected to be methamphetamine. Total weight is approximately 3.3 grams.
Williams was booked into the County Jail with bail set at $100,000.
